Vitagon 5000 IU injections, manufactured by Alpha Pharma, contain the hormone Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) which is useful in the treatment of infertility in both men and women. HCG injections are typically administered as intramuscular therapy in women who have ovulation complications. Human Chorionic Gonadotropin injections stimulates the release of eggs during the ovulation cycle. Human Chorionic Gonadotropin injections are used in women undergoing in vitro fertilization to stimulate the development and maturation of eggs in the ovaries. Human Chorionic Gonadotropin injections (Vitagon) are administered to men with low sperm count (oligospermia) for the treatment of infertility.
